Winter Commencement

Milwaukee Area Technical College's Winter 2019 graduation candidates were recognized at a commencement ceremony held at the Miller High Life Theatre. Joaquín Altoro, the chief executive officer and executive director of the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority, delivered the commencement address, and Amanda Ann Szatkowski, the Outstanding Associate Degree Graduate Award recipient, gave the student address. William Coffer Jr., who received the Congressional Gold Medal as one of the first African-Americans to enlist in the Marine Corps, received a Distinguished Alumnus Award from the college.
