MATC Partners With Mexican Counsulate

MATC President Dr. Vicki J. Martin and Mexican Consul Julían Adem signed a memo of understanding at the Consulate of Mexico in Milwaukee. The agreement establishes a “Ventanilla de Opportunidades Educativas” or “Educational Opportunities Station” at the consulate staffed by MATC. Through this partnership, MATC will provide information to interested students about educational opportunities including: early education; basic education for children and adolescents; access and financing for higher education; basic education for adults, English as a Second Language classes, preparation for the GED and workforce development, among others. Likewise, the VOE will offer support to access the educational services of Mexico available in the United States. MATC is grateful for the $10,680 in financial support from the consulate that will help make the station possible.
