MATC Day

Milwaukee Area Technical College held MATC Day, a semiannual day of employee development, at the Miller High Life Theatre in downtown Milwaukee. Speakers included MATC President Dr. Vicki J. Martin, MATC student Mayra Caterjon-Hernandez and Kevin David with CampusWorks Inc. Ravi Hutheesing, a musician, pilot, cultural diplomat and international speaker, delivered the keynote address. After a lunch break, the audience was given a progress update on Guided Pathways and MATC’s Department of Public Safety received the #AllIn award. The day concluded with a dramatic performance called "The Defamation Experience," which encourages civil discourse on race relations and bias.
