Milwaukee Area Technical College announced the MATC Promise for Adults at the Downtown Milwaukee Campus. The program offers free tuition for eligible students to finish their associate degrees at MATC and is an expansion of MATC’s first-in-the-state Promise program which assists new high school graduates. MATC President Dr. Vicki J. Martin, MATC Board Chairperson David Dull, Milwaukee County Executive and MATC Promise donor Chris Abele, MATC Vice President of Student Services and Enrollment Management Johnny Craig and MATC Vice President of College Advancement and External Communications Laura Bray spoke at the event. Current MATC Promise students Rogelio Balderas and Antoinette Howell also shared stories from their experiences in the program.
