MATC hosted a forum on "Procedural Justice and Police-Community Relations in Milwaukee" Feb. 21 at the Downtown Milwaukee Campus. Panelists included Capt. Raymond Banks, Milwaukee Police Department, acting assistant chief of the Neighborhood Patrol Bureau; Jamaal Smith, community activist; Kimberly D. Hassell, associate professor of criminal justice, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee; Steven DeVougas, chair of the Milwaukee Fire and Police Commission; and MATC criminal justice student Draelon Jemison. There were also small group discussions following the panel presentation.
