Spring Commencement

Milwaukee Area Technical College's Spring 2017 graduation candidates were recognized at the commencement ceremony held at the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena. Dr. Jill Biden, former U.S. second lady and community college professor, delivered the commencement address, and Lydia Gonwa, the Outstanding Associate Degree Graduate Award recipient, gave the student graduation address. Milwaukee County Executive and local philanthropist Chris Abele also announced a $500,000 personal gift for the MATC Promise at the ceremony.
