Apprenticeship Banquet

Milwaukee Area Technical College and its business partners recognized more than 100 Apprentice graduates during a banquet held at the Italian Conference Center in Milwaukee. The graduates were from 23 manufacturing and service apprenticeship programs. Daniel J. Bukiewicz, president of the Milwaukee Building and Construction Trades Council, was honored with the 2016 Distinguished Service Award. Sherry Carlson, chief operations officer of Design Build Fire Protection of Wisconsin Inc., Michael F. Mamayek, executive vice president of HVAC Design/Build at Illingworth-Kilgust Mechanical, and Michael A. Mallwitz, president of Busch Precision Inc., received Civic Apprenticeship Awards.
