Gingerbread House Party

MATC Baking Production/Pastry Arts students created 50 elaborate gingerbread houses for the annual Gingerbread Contest and Auction sponsored by the Wisconsin Bakers Association and Milwaukee Public Market. Industry professionals judged the houses for design and quality. Kimberly Thalman was the first-place winner; Anna Mee Carini won both second place and the People's Choice award; and Heidi Kossow took third place. Proceeds from the silent auction went toward student scholarships.
