Nursing Pinning Ceremony

The candidates for graduation from MATC's Practical Nursing and Registered Nursing programs participated in a pinning ceremony, which symbolizes a student's completed nursing education. Nine candidates for the Practical Nursing technical diploma and 35 candidates for the Registered Nursing associate degree were recognized at the ceremony held on the Downtown Milwaukee Campus. Dr. Dessie Levy, School of Health Sciences dean, performed the pinning. Student speakers included Monique Stewart, Practical Nursing graduate, and Adam TenPas, Registered Nursing graduate. Meredith Harding, Registered Nursing graduate, received the Wisconsin Nurses Association Future Nurse Leader Award.
