MATC Celebrates Grant Awards

MATC recognized more than 130 faculty and staff for their contributions toward the development and implementation of grant projects. Dr Michael Burke and Dr. Vicki Martin highlighted recent grant awards that included $526,937 from the National Science Foundation for a Biochemical Excellence in Science Technology (BEST) program; $791,000 from the Department of Education for an Emergency Management grant; $367,000 from the Department of Health and Human Services for a Health Information Technology program; and $778,704 from the Department of Commerce to upgrade WMVS-TV transmission equipment.
