LED Lighting Ribbon Cutting

As part of the college's commitment to energy sustainability, MATC flipped the switch on a new LED lighting system in its Eighth and State Parking Structure. Cutting the ribbon were Fred Royal, MATC District Board; Don Albinger, VP Renewable Energy Solutions, Johnson Controls; George Stone, MATC Natural Sciences instructor and Co-Chair of the Sustainability Committee; and Jeff Roepsch, Life Cycle Program Manager, Johnson Controls. Kevin Orth, Director of Sales, BetaLED, was also on hand to give a demonstration of the new system.
