Workforce 2020: Nursing Assistant Completion Ceremony

Ten high school students from the Port Washington-Saukville School District and six traditional-age college students earned nursing assistant diplomas this summer. Taught by MATC instructor Melanie Gray, students took four weeks of classroom training at the Downtown Milwaukee Campus and three weeks of clinical training at Alexian Village. The high school students enrolled through Ozaukee County's Workforce 2020 program, which offers school- and work-based learning opportunities to provide students with academic and occupational skills leading to employment. The graduates may now take the Pearson Vue certification exam to become certified nursing assistants and work in the community.
