Alice in Dairyland Tree Planting and Dedication

Christine Lindner, Wisconsin's Alice in Dairyland, joined with children from the Mequon Campus Child Care Center, MATC Horticulture Club students, and Michael J. Wendt, chair and instructor of MATC’s Landscape Horticulture Associate Degree program, to plant a shrub at the Mequon Campus. The children learned about how shrubs/trees impact the earth’s future. Following an annual tradition begun in 1977, Lied’s Nursery Company, Inc., donated a tree to the Mequon Campus to honor Alice in Dairyland and partipated in a dedication ceremony.
