2010 Green Energy Summit

The 2010 Green Energy Summit was held at the Midwest Airlines Center in Milwaukee, hosted by MATC and the Wisconsin Technical College System. This seventh annual summit was dedicated to the memory of its founder, Robert Palmer (Bob) Gilbertson. A highlight of the conference was the signing of the American College and University Presidents’ Climate Commitment by MATC President Dr. Michael L. Burke. Featured presenters included: Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett; Actor and activist Ed Begley, Jr.; Will Allen, founder of Growing Power; Arctic explorer Will Steger; Mark Chandler, NASA Goddard Institute of Space Studies; and Founding Dean of the College of Environmental Sciences at Beijing University, C.S. Kiang.
