Girl Scout Career Day

More than 150 Girl Scouts participated in a Career Day at MATC's Oak Creek Campus. The scouts were involved in a number of hands-on activities led by MATC faculty members, most of whom who are non-traditional female instructors in technical and related occupational areas. Among the careers explored were advanced manufacturing, architectural, automotive technology, carpentry, electronics, fire protection, landscape horticulture, public safety and welding.
