Lt. Governor Visits MATC

Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes, Secretary Caleb Frostman of the Department of Workforce Development, and Deputy Secretary Jeff Pertl of the Department of Children and Families visited Milwaukee Area Technical College’s Downtown Milwaukee Campus. The group met with college leadership and discussed a number of college initiatives aimed at closing the higher education equity gap. Discussion topics and visits included: the college’s work with the Department of Corrections and Second Chance Pell, apprenticeships, early childhood education and automotive education.
