Tavis Smiley at MATC

Tavis Smiley interviewed MATC President Dr. Vicki Martin and alumni El Amin Abdullah and Kristin Gies while taping his PBS talk show in Cooley Auditorium at the Downtown Milwaukee Campus. Smiley made Milwaukee a stop on his "One Great Idea Tour" to discuss the benefits of a technical college education and to highlight the MATC Promise. Smiley also taped a segment for MPTV's "Black Nouveau" program and held a book signing at the college.
