Food for Today: A Hunger Simulation

The Office of Engaged and Service-Learning 5th annual Education Against Poverty event was a simulation designed to teach participants about the causes of hunger in our community and the actions needed to alleviate it. People took on different roles: some played family members, seniors, or single mothers trying to obtain food, while others ran businesses, non-profits, or government agencies. The goal was to provide people with sufficient, healthy food every day, despite the curve balls that life might throw at them.
