Lessons from Milwaukee: The Future of Public Education

Milwaukee Area Technical College welcomed author Barbara Miner and Wisconsin Representative Mandela Barnes (11th District) for a discussion on public education. Miner is the author of “Lessons from the Heartland: A Turbulent Half Century of Public Education in an Iconic American City.” Barnes is a Milwaukee Public Schools graduate and serves on the Assembly Committee on Urban Education.
