Teach Week: The Difference Teachers of Color Can Make

Eight days of activities were part of Teach Week, April 26 - May 4, at the Downtown Milwaukee Campus. The events highlighted the college's cluster of education and related programs: Early Childhood Education, Interpreter Technician, K - 12 Paraprofessional Track and Teacher Education Track. This panel discussion featured Joyce Mallory, former MPS board member and director of the Malaika Early Learning Center; Greg Love; Rita Tenorio, principal of La Escuela Fratney; and Der Vang, MATC Multicultural Affairs office. Moderator was Rohan deSilva, MATC Social Science Instructor.
