Heavy Metal Tour Showcases Manufacturing Careers

Middle and high school students and their parents learned about careers in skilled manufacturing at the “Heavy Metal Tour” held at MATC's Center for Energy Conservation and Advanced Manufacturing (ECAM) on the Oak Creek Campus. Participants toured ECAM, met with MATC instructors and students, and with representatives of area manufacturers. The event was a collaborative effort of MATC, the West Allis-West Milwaukee School District and local manufacturers.
